UV absorber - 1577
UV-1577 is a low-volatility special UV absorber with a high molecular weight, heat resistance, and low volatility. It does not easily precipitate when added in large quantities. 1577 has good compatibility with most polymers, additives, and formulation resins. Compared to traditional benzotriazole UV absorbers, polycarbonate (PC) and polyester (PET, PBT) containing 1577 exhibit superior weather resistance, strong UV absorption capabilities, and do not affect transparency.

Recommended application areas
Suitable for PET, PBT, PC (linear and branched), polyether ester, PMMA, acrylic copolymers, PA, PS, SAN, ASA and polyolefin, a variety of high performance polymers and alloys, reinforced or non-reinforced, filled or unfilled, flame retardant or non-flame retardant, transparent, translucent, opaque systems. Especially suitable for:
1) Polycarbonate (PC) film, sheet, plate, etc., with good compatibility with PC, low volatility in high temperature melting processing, easy to precipitate, no need to frequently clean the runner and mold.
2) Nylon (PA) film, sheet, etc
3) Polyester (PET, PBT) film, sheet, plate, etc
4) Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) film, sheet, plate, etc
5) Other application fields with special requirements for long-term light stability.

1577 is particularly suitable for some processing and application occasions that require large amounts of UV absorbers, low volatilities, and good compatibility, such as complex molded products, flat/wafer boards, double wall panels, films, co-injection or co-extruded semi-finished products. 1577 allows direct co-extrusion of two layers.
