Toxicity
Oral LD50=7.4g/kg body weight in rats, human allowable intake is 3.3mg/kg body weight.
Use
As a benzophenone UV absorber, the maximum UV absorption wavelength range is 290-400nm. Suitable for PVC, polyvinylidene chloride, ABS resin, polystyrene and polysulfone.
Solubility
Soluble in acetone, benzene, methanol, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone and ethanol and other most organic solvents, insoluble in water.
